To learn how to connect to the streaming service, check out this article.

In OBS Studio, select Settings ⇒ Output.

At the top of the drop-down Output Mode menu, you can select either “Simple” or “Advanced” mode:

Simple Mode

. If you choose the default “Simple” mode, these are the parameters you must select:

  • Video Bitrate ⇒ depends on the resolution you will use and the internet connection you have (try different resolution and bitrates to see which suits your setup)

  • Audio Bitrate ⇒ select 128

Advanced Mode (we recommend you use this one)

In turn, if you choose “Advanced” Output Mode, you must check the parameters exactly as in the picture below:

Settings:

  • Rate Control ⇒ CBR is preferred

  • Bitrate ⇒ depends on the resolution you will use and the internet connection you have (try different resolution and bitrates to see which suits your setup)

  • IMPORTANT: Keyframe Interval ⇒ select the value of 2 s

  • CPU Usage Preset ⇒ “veryfast” or “faster” is recommended

  • Profile ⇒ “Main” or “High” is recommended

  • IMPORTANT: Tune ⇒ select “zerolatency”

In case you have selected a different Encoder than the default one on this section, ensure that you select “No B-frames”. Note that this is essential for the stream flow.
