You can now create a preview video using your Android device, which will be displayed on your profile. If you're using Windows 10 or 11, follow these steps to set it up:
Important: Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure the plugin detects the necessary software, allowing you to use your phone’s camera to record the video.
Step 1: Download and Install DroidCam
Visit the official site to download and install the DroidCam desktop app:
DroidCam DownloadInstall the DroidCam app on your Android device from the Google Play Store.
Step 2: Launch the DroidCam Apps
Open the DroidCam client on your computer (find it in the Start menu).
Launch the DroidCam app on your Android phone.
Step 3: Connect Your Phone and Computer
On the desktop app, right-click in the center of the screen and select “Add > DroidCam”.
Ensure both your phone and computer are connected to the same network and that the DroidCam app is open on your phone.
Step 4: Search for Your Device
Click [Refresh Device List] to search for your device. If the device is not found after 3 attempts, you can manually add it.
Troubleshooting: If auto-discovery fails, ensure multicast is allowed on your network, try toggling your Wi-Fi off and on, or restart your system.
Step 5: Sync the Apps
Once the phone and desktop apps are successfully paired, you will see the video feed from your phone appear on your computer screen.
Step 6: Record the Preview Video
Open the plugin and select the option to record a preview video.
The plugin will recognize DroidCam Video as a virtual camera. Select it to start using your phone’s camera for the video
